Every Day is Mother’s Day for Jane Taylor

After working 10+ years in the jewelry industry, learning every aspect of running a company, in 1994 designer Jane Taylor began her eponymous collection in the living room of her Manhattan apartment. She was a single mom, raising her daughter Cleo, when she added “hustling entrepreneur” to her resume. Meticulously crafted, with juicy gemstones that are judiciously selected for optimal color and cut, the creation of her jewelry and its signature clean lines, geometric shapes, easy wearability and, above all, playfulness, has always been a labor of love. Jane sees her jewelry as her way of paying love forward, and in 2010, the love in her company intensified when Cleo joined the business!

Today, Jane spearheads the design while Cleo focuses on the marketing and communications of the brand. This mother/daughter duo are a perfect Yin/Yang complement to one another and, as we’ve learned in the past, they often rely on mental telepathy to stay in constant communication! But when they’re together–and you’ll see them often walking the aisles of AGTA GemFair Tucson, or on a collective treasure hunt at one of the U.S. Antique Show’s events and, of course, during COUTURE–the love and synergy between the two is palpable. So in honor of Mother’s Day, we wanted to celebrate this Mother/Daughter Dream Team while also saying Happy Mother’s Day to all of the COUTURE moms out there!
