Couture Musings

Tales from Inhorgenta–Day 1

There was an incredible momentum today that promises a very strong event. The show is stunning; highlighting the very best of European design. The Couture pavilion itself is beautiful. The drapes create a theatrical element that draws buyers in. The glass chandeliers suspended from the air add an elegance and ambiance to the space while the champagne service creates a luxurious atmosphere. But the real star of the show is the jewelry itself. From the tension set stones of Steven Kretchmer to the brilliant color from Erica Courtney, the magic of Armenta to the playful sophistication of Aaron Basha– when it comes to the jewelry, the stars were definitely aligned.
